Bindo Creek Cabins
are set on a hilltop overlooking forests and farms with spectacular country views and are easily reached by road.

Oberon is situated approximately 1100 metres above sea level and has a true mountain climate with occasional snowfalls.

WALKING: The cabins are set on 100 acres. There is a private marked walking trail close to Bindo Creek from which to sample the sounds and beauty of the bush and the chance to spot some native wildlife. You can wander through the paddocks, or make your way down to the creek which borders the property.

Oberon and surrounding districts have many beautiful places to explore.  Kanangra Boyd and the Blue Mountains National Parks are close by.

GOLF: Oberon offers an 18-hole golf course set above Lake Oberon. It affords a traffic-free round with challenging holes and a gallery of kangaroos. Ideal for serious golfers or anyone who just wants to enjoy the scenery and maybe hit a few balls.

FISHING: Oberon is famous for trout fishing. Bindo Creek Cabins offers you private access to 500m of the Bindo Creek and is suitable for fly, lure or bait fishing. Lake Oberon is only 15 minutes by car and you can fish from its banks all year round to your heart's content.


HORSE RIDING
: You can take a guided trail ride through the many pine forests that surround Oberon.

TENNIS: Tennis courts are available for hire in Oberon.

SWIMMING: There is a large outdoor heated pool in Oberon. The creek is ideal for swimming in the warmer months, when the water is crystal clear.

MUSHROOMS: There are huge areas of State Forests pine plantations in the Oberon area, providing an ideal environment for many diiferent varieties of mushrooms. Some information on mushrooms is available from Oberon Visitors Centre.

FOSSICKING: A popular activity in the Oberon district. Information can be obtained from Oberon Visitors Centre, or the Department of Mineral Resources.
